MRS. BETH’S DAILY SCHEDULE

8:25                           First bell rings.  Children enter room.

8:30                           Last bell rings.  Opening exercises begin on the tv.

8:35-9:20                    Show and Tell.  Then we begin Calendar Math activities, children do classroom jobs.

                                   Whole group lessons in Practical Life, Sensorial, Biology and Geography.

                                    Group snack time.  Children are dismissed to work.

9:20-10:50                 Children ‘s worktime and lessons.

10:50                         Clean up for lunch. 

11:00                          Children walk to the cafeteria for lunch.

11:05-11:35                Lunch.

11:45-12:15                Resttime and individual work with students

11:45-12:15               Thursday:  Media

 11;50-12:20              Monday P. E.

12:20-1:00                Wednesday:  Music and Art on a rotating basis

12:20-12:45             Storytime and songs. 

12:45-1:15                Outside play.

1:15-1:25                 Children get water and Pre-k's prepare to go home.

1:30                        Dismiss pre-k’s.  K’s go to the bathroom, do independent reading, then prepare for Writer's Workshop.

1:45-2:45                Writer's Workshop

2:45                     K’s put away materials, clean up room and prepare to go home.

2:55                      Teacher walks car riders to front to go home.
